Rwandan president, Paul Kagame hosts Nigerian singer, Rema in his palace. The singer attended the 2023 Trace Music Awards in Kigali on Saturday, where he won awards for the Global African Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for his song “Calm Down.” In Rema’s speech, he made mention of Rwanda being a home away from home and it gives off that vibe of a place he can rest and feel at home without having to travel overseas.
