I auditioned for Big Brother Nigeria on a dare

Ebuka, who was a contestant in the first season of Big Brother Naija, has mentioned that he participated just because he was dared to do so.

Speaking on the latest episode of the Menisms Podcast, Ebuka recounted his humble beginnings as one of the housemates in the first season back in 2006, stressing that he never intended to become popular.

Now, Ebuka isn’t just an ex-housemate but also the host of the Big Brother Naija show. He narrated how he came across the advert for the show and ended up going for it just as a dare. He stated that at the time it was Big Brother Nigeria and not Naija.

The Big Brother show paved his way into entertainment, and now he isn’t just the Big Brother Naija host, but also the host of other TV shows.

Even though the journey started as a dare, he doesn’t regret taking that step.
