It was a good and remarkable experience for the latest batch, Batch B Stream 1 Corps Members in Lagos, as the Lagos State Governor, Governor Sanwo-Olu Babajide, not only visited them during the passing out parade but also dressed in their uniform.

This was a first in history, and it might have been hard to recognize the Governor in the midst of the Corps Members as he seemed to fit in just fine.

The Governor went further by giving all the Corps Members ₦100,000 each.

He also promised to release 5 billion Naira this year alone to start the full development of the permanent site for NYSC.

Corps Members who were lucky enough to be in that stream and batch would definitely be envied and of course, considered lucky. The Governor put smiles on their faces, and now those with no savings have something to take home. This act of kindness should be emulated.
