The video features the actress in a prison-inspired costume, in handcuffs, on a film set, being escorted by a fake officer.

The video’s caption shares a heartfelt note about the struggles of being falsely accused.

She wrote, “There is no iota of truth in the rumor,” with the hashtag #cinematime.

Yvonne Jegede, a fellow actress, took to the comment section, humorously promising to arrange a prison break on Mercy’s behalf.
