I Don’t Like to Do What People Expect – Rema

Nigerian artist Rema has revealed that his desire to defy expectations inspired his latest album ‘HEIS’.

In an interview with The Breakfast Club, Rema explained why his latest album stands out from the norm.

“I like moving to my new projects in my own way,” Rema said. “I don’t like moving according to people’s expectations. I don’t like following the rules.”

Rema also shared that it took his mother some time to accept his decision to pursue a music career.
