Dr. Mo Abudu, the visionary founder of EbonyLife Group, has issued a rallying cry to Nigerian filmmakers and storytellers to remain true and tell authentic Nigerian stories.
Abudu’s passionate plea came during a keynote address at a two-day conference organized by the Nigerian Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB).
Abudu emphasized that Nigerian storytellers must resist the temptation to compromise their unique cultural perspectives in order to appeal to a broader audience.
Instead, Abudu urged filmmakers to double down on their heritage, embracing the rich cultural diversity that makes Nigeria so vibrant.
