In 2016, Mayorkun’s music career was still in its infancy. However, his fate changed when Davido stumbled upon his cover of “The Money” single on social media.

Impressed by Mayorkun’s talent, Davido decided to take a chance on him and signed him to his record label, DMW.

Mayorkun recently shared his experience with Davido at the TraceLive x Tiger Beer concert in Lagos.

He expressed his gratitude to Davido for believing in him and giving him the opportunity to showcase his talent to the world.
