Nick Jonas is getting a firsthand look at just how packed toddler schedules can be. During a recent appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, the singer opened up about his 3-year-old daughter Malti Marie’s daily routine and the activities she’s trying out. Malti, who he shares with wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas, has been adjusting to nursery school life in New York and she already has a few strong opinions about her hobbies.
According to Nick, soccer was a no-go, but karate? She’s all in. “She’s really taken to karate,” he said with a smile. “It’s basically they get in their karate outfits and just say, ‘hi-ya,’” he laughed. Despite the light-hearted tone, Nick noted how meaningful it’s been to watch Malti form friendships and enjoy a bit of structure after the challenging start she had in the NICU. The couple welcomed her via surrogate in January 2022, and she spent her first 100 days in intensive care.
