Aṣa Named 2025 Yale World Fellow, Joins Elite Group of Global Leaders

Aṣa joins 15 other global changemakers in Yale University’s prestigious leadership training program.

Nigerian singer-songwriter Bukola Elemide, better known as Aṣa, has achieved yet another milestone, being named a 2025 Yale World Fellow. The internationally acclaimed musician joins a diverse group of leaders from various fields selected for the highly competitive four-month program at Yale University. Aṣa will participate in leadership training and academic enrichment, alongside 15 other global changemakers.

The Yale World Fellows program, run by the university’s International Leadership Centre, has welcomed over 400 individuals from 101 countries since its inception in 2002. This initiative is aimed at nurturing leadership and expanding global perspectives. Aṣa’s inclusion in the 2025 cohort reflects her influence not only in music but also as a leader in driving change and inspiring optimism worldwide.
