Bishop Jakes, 66, shared that this move is not a goodbye but an expansion. “This elevation is not a departure but a rebirth,” he told the congregation. Following a heart attack in November, the Bishop explained that the transition ensures the church’s future remains strong and guided. Sarah and Touré have already been leading operationally, and now step fully into their roles with his blessing and support.
