Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has made history as the first African artist to receive Grammy nominations for six consecutive years.
The ‘African Giant’ has earned Grammy nominations consecutively since 2018 because of his outstanding music performances, a rare feat for an African artist.
Currently, Burna Boy has now garnered a total of 11 Grammy nominations and has also won one.
Burna Boy’s hit ‘Higher’ received a Grammy nomination for Best African Music Performance this year making the 11th nomination.
