Gabby Thomas, an American sprinter, made history by winning the gold medal in the women’s 200m event at the Olympics in Paris.

With a remarkable time of 21.83 seconds, Thomas outpaced Julien Alfred of St. Lucia, who took silver with a time of 22.08 seconds.

Thomas’s teammate, Brittany Brown, secured the bronze medal with a time of 22.20 seconds.

Thomas’s impressive performance was marked by a strong start, a dominant bend, and a powerful finish, earning her the top spot on the podium and her first major title.”
