Gospel sensation Tasha Cobbs Leonard recently opened up on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” about the sweet and unexpected way she met her husband, Kenneth Leonard. Both rooted in their faith, they crossed paths at a worship conference where Kenneth was the music director, and Tasha was leading rehearsals. However, a small mix-up with a song led to a memorable introduction.
Tasha recalled the moment fondly, sharing that when the wrong version of William Murphy’s “Praise Is What I Do” was played, she demanded to know who was in charge. Kenneth, cool and composed, introduced himself and offered to resolve the issue. Tasha humorously noted that while she was full of energy, Kenneth remained calm— a dynamic that still works in their marriage today. She ended by saying, “He has been the calm to my storm since that moment.”
