Rema Donates Over 100 Million to Christ Embassy Church

Rema gives back to his childhood church.

Nigerian artist Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, donated a sum of one hundred and five million naira to his childhood church, Christ Embassy in Benin, Edo State.

Rema, who made the donation during a church service, said it was a way to give back and appreciate the church for showing his family love after they lost his father.

He pledged N40 million towards the church’s infrastructural development, N20 million to support the Rhapsody of Realities publication, N25 million to the church’s teens, and N20 million to all the widows in attendance.

Rema explained that he donated to the widows because the church had supported his mother after his father’s passing by opening a store for her, which greatly helped them financially.
