Julie Bowen is feeling all the emotions as her eldest son, Oliver, officially enters adulthood. On April 10, the Modern Family star shared a nostalgic video of Oliver as a child talking stocks and market trends — showing just how ahead of his time he’s always been. “This sweet sweet monkey is 18 today,” Bowen wrote. “You made me a mom — a very flawed but adoring mom. I love you always.” The touching post was a celebration of motherhood, growth, and the surprises that come with both.
Sarah Hyland, who played Bowen’s daughter Haley Dunphy on the long-running sitcom, was just as stunned as the rest of us. “I’m sobbing. EIGHTEEN?!? Nooooooo,” she commented on the post. Beyond their on-screen bond, the duo shares a deep off-screen connection — one that’s seen Bowen step in to support Hyland during some of her toughest times.
