During an Interview, Singer Simi finally shared the story of Adekunle Gold’s romantic proposal, which happened ten days before her 30th birthday.

Despite being hard to surprise, Simi admitted that Adekunle Gold’s gesture caught her off guard. The proposal coincided with a friend’s mother’s birthday party, which they had attended earlier.

Already dressed up, Simi was unaware of the evening’s romantic turn. After returning home feeling exhausted, Adekunle Gold convinced her to join him for dinner with his uncles at the Eko Hotel.

Unsuspecting, Simi agreed, seeing it as an opportunity to bond with her husband’s family.
