“The English I speak is self-taught” – Ibrahim Chatta

Ibrahim reveals why he dropped out of secondary school.

Ibrahim Chatta, a Nollywood actor and filmmaker, has confirmed that it is true he dropped out of school when he was in high school to pursue his dreams and career in acting.

During his interview with BBC Yoruba, he mentioned that he kick-started his acting career in 1985. He also mentioned that during those times before he finally dropped out, he would skip classes to perform in theaters with colleagues.

This revelation has surprised many people and made them wonder how Ibrahim Chatta is able to speak English fluently despite dropping out of school. During the interview, he mentioned that his ability to speak English fluently is a result of his dedication to self-learning and development.
