Tunde Onokoya began his mission to win the Guinness World Record for the longest chess marathon of 58 hours on Wednesday, April 17.

He has so far received support from many people, including Adekunle Gold, who visited the venue earlier and made donations for the live-streaming events.

Afrobeats singer Davido showed up at Times Square in New York on Thursday to support Nigerian chess master Tunde Onokoya, who is attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest chess marathon.

So far, Tunde has been performing extremely well, emerging triumphant in all his matches, including the one against New York’s National Chess Master, Shawn Martinez.
