Michael Cherrie portrays Conrad Chisholm, described by Netflix as “Shirley’s supportive but increasingly strained husband.” The couple was married from 1949 to 1977, according to historical records.
Additionally, Terrence Howard plays Arthur Hardwick Jr. Following her divorce from Conrad, Shirley married Arthur Hardwick Jr., a Buffalo liquor store owner and state legislator, as reported by the New York Times.
