“Working with Tems is amazing. She is so talented” -Tyla

Grammy-winning South African singer Tyla credited her Nigerian counterpart, Tems, for opening the doors of global recognition for young African female artists.

During an interview, Tyla expressed how she feels working with Tems. It is rare to see a lady acknowledge and appreciate her female counterpart.

She said, “Working with Tems is amazing. She is so talented. She is literally a force. I’m so honored to have worked with her. She has opened so many doors for us, the young African female artists.

“We created a beautiful song with a powerful message, specifically for girls and by girls,” she further expressed.

Tems was featured on “Number 1” from Tyla’s recently released debut album.
